I’m finally FINALLY starting on a new app again. Getting away from the goofy games, this one is a utility. It may be that there is no interest in this one, but that won’t matter because I REALLY want to use it myself. If someone else buys it, so much the better.
It’s still early in the process, and I’m just now dragging boxes around the screen and arguing out font sizes and basic crud like that. I can’t believe how much I’ve forgotten! Kristina told me that if I don’t stay on top of coding it would float right out of my brain, and boy was she right. Still, some things are still familiar, and it’s really fun to discover what I have lost and to get it back. The most important thing I can do at this point is to not let myself just give up because it’s hard, or because I can’t remember something, or I don’t feel I have the focus time.
What is it? It’s a basic computer inventory app. There’s some special features I have in mind, and a layout and data plan based off of 17 years of working with this kind of thing, so there’s that. Soon I’ll start giving out more info, but right now everything is so fluid that it wouldn’t matter what I showed you anyway. Stay tuned, I guess! New things are coming!
